Conway Scenic Railroad Excursions

Conway Scenic Railroad’s Snow Train offers a delightful wintery excursion down and back on the Conway Branch. This 55-minute journey recreates the experience of traveling from town to town on a mid-twentieth century passenger train in a frosty winter landscape.

Join us for a bold Winter adventure! Travel by train over New Hampshire’s supremely scenic Crawford Notch in the winter. This is a seasonal variation of our Mountaineer that offers stunning views of the White Mountains in from the comfort of a classic mid-20th century streamlined train. The Winter Mountaineer boards at North Conway Station at 10:30am on select dates November 28 through March 2026.

Guests and their families will enjoy a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny and Easter themed rail cars at our historic N. Conway rail station built in 1874, along with a special Easter treat from the Easter Bunny himself!

The annual 470 Club Excursion departs the North Conway station at 9 am on November 7, 2026 for an extended run over Crawford Notch! This once a year trip is a favorite of railway enthusiasts. It typically makes several photo stops along the way to enable passengers to disembark and make line-side photos of specially arranged vintage locomotives and equipment. This event typically runs between 5-8 hours and returns to the North Conway station in the evening.
