Boxed Lunches

Sawyer River Boxed Lunches must be booked by 3:00 p.m. the day prior to your trip.

A choice of:

  • Smoked Ham & Swiss on hearty bread
  • Turkey & Cheddar on hearty bread
  • Hummus Wrap with lettuce, carrots, onions, roasted peppers, and sprouts in a flour tortilla wrap

All box lunches include:

  • Homemade slaw
  • Potato Chips
  • Cookies
  • Mustard & Mayonnaise packets
  • Plastic utensils, salt & pepper, napkin and wet nap
  • Bottle of water

Hot Meals

Hot meals can be pre-ordered or ordered day of onboard the train with your server.

2 Course Dinner | $40

Roasted Statler Chicken Breast with homemade marsala reduction:
Served with Chieftan Wild Rice and Chef’s vegetable of the day.

Jen’s Homemade Meatloaf:
Served with homemade beef mushroom gravy, roasted Green Thumb Farms fingerling potatoes & Chef’s vegetable of the day.

Stuffed Filet of Rainbow Trout Florentine:
Stuffed with Parmesan and fresh spinach and wrapped in bacon, served with Chieftan Wild Rice and Chef’s vegetable of the day

4 Course Dinner | $60

Tomato Soup:
Homeade Tomato Soup with fresh herbs.

Grilled Romaine Salad:
Fresh, local baby romaine grilled and topped with fresh roasted tomatoes, cucumber, candied walnuts & drizzled with a homemade blueberry balsamic dressing

Entrée choices:
Half roasted Maple Leaf Farms Duck:
Drizzled with a homemade raspberry Chambord sauce and served with Chieftan wild rice and chef’s vegetable of the day

Braised short rib of beef:
Served on a bed of homemade demi glace, with roasted Green Thumb Farms fingerling potatos and Chef’s vegetable of the day

Jumbo Prawns:
2 Jumbo prawns drizzled with a Caribbean mango sauce, served on a bed of Chieftan Wild Rice and Chef’s vegetable of the day

2 Course Vegetarian Dinner | $40

Local fresh vegetable grilled and stacked with homemade marinara

4 Course Vegetarian Dinner | $50
