All Aboard the Iconic Crawford Notch Train Ride!

In 2020, we renamed our ‘Notch Train’ as the Mountaineer to recapture the tradition and romance of the historic train that once traversed our lines. Conway Scenic Railroad’s Mountaineer offers a supremely scenic four to five and a half  hour rail journey through the Mount Washington Valley and over the rugged Crawford Notch.

Our Mountaineer consists of 1950s-era streamlined passenger cars to recreate the experience of a post-World War II transcontinental streamlined train. Choose from a variety of different experiences including premier class travel in our deluxe upper dome dining cars:  Rhonda Lee and Leslie Anne.

Prices are for the train ride only and do not include food.

No outside food is allowed on the train. There is a cash only snack bar onboard.

LUNCH INFO

Lunch is in addition to the ticket price per person or child.

Please book lunches on the same day as you book your excursion and 48 hours before the day of your trip.

Can be purchased for an additional fee. Since we make our lunches fresh, you must purchase them at least 48 hours in advance.

Your choice of one of the following:

• Savory Smoked Turkey & American Cheese on a soft “Hawaiian style” bulky roll. Comes with bag of chips, cookie, string cheese, box of raisins, and a bottled water
• Black Forest Ham and American cheese on a soft “Hawaiian style” bulky roll. Comes with a bag of chips, string cheese, box of raisins, cookie, and a bottled water
• Red pepper hummus, veggie sticks, corn chips, salsa, and cheese sauce. Comes with comes with carrot sticks, celery sticks, box of raisins, string cheese, cookie, and a bottled water.

Kids Menu

• Uncrustables® peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich,
  served with chips and cookies
