Winter at Crawford

We offer two classes of travel for this rare winter-time opportunity to go up to Crawford Notch; Premium Dome class, and First class.

Conway Scenic has extended operations over Crawford Notch into the Winter season! Winter at Crawford trains are scheduled to board at 10:30am on select dates between November 30 and December 30th, 2024, at the North Conway, NH station. From the comfort of our classic streamlined passenger train, you may enjoy a four-hour journey from North Conway over the Mountain Division to Crawford Notch that offers stunning views of White Mountain scenery at higher elevations.

This train passes through New Hampshire’s Mount Washington Valley and travels across towering viaducts and through the rocky crags at Crawford Notch! Our 1950s-era streamlined passenger cars offer a variety of different experiences including premium dome class travel in our glass-topped Budd Vista domes. In the event of predictions for extreme winter weather, Conway Scenic Railroad will follow the safe course, and it may be necessary to postpone the date of travel on this train.
